Our new showroom is nearing completion and we are beginning the move.
The cabinetry was installed this week and the template was taken for stone counter tops from Cambria. The phone system with real voice mail should be installed today and the actual phone service will switch over on Wednesday the 17th of July.
Displays will be coming in over the next few weeks, so we ask for your patience as we will have a smaller selection of products to look at for a short time. When everything is in place we will have over thirty feet of Hunter Douglas displays, all child safe. We will also have a large selection of motorized blinds and shades from Hunter Douglas, Horizons, Insolroll and Somfy.
Our “Shrine to Shutters” looks beautiful in the new space, with wonderful quality from Kirtz, Window Outfitters and Hunter Douglas. Draperies and valances are being made in our workroom to complement the blinds, shades and shutters in the windows.
Our installers are excited about the extra space they will have to perform repairs. Our old space was quite cramped and very difficult to keep organized. If you are not aware, we are an authorized service center for Hunter Douglas, and we repair blinds and shades from most major brands. Mary Ellen is thrilled that she will have an actual desk instead of using the conference table as a desk.
We hope to see you in the next few weeks as the showroom comes together, and watch for our grand opening in the Fall to celebrate our twentieth anniversary and our new space.
