It is finally coming together!
We are at our new location at 112 Lafayette Rd in North Hampton, just 500 feet South of our old location. It is truly amazing how much stuff we have accumulated over the last eight years. If you were to stop by to day, you may not be very impressed yet. We still have a lot of unpacking to do and we will be receiving the new displays over the next few weeks.
The built-ins are installed and the counter tops will be installed Monday, both from Lifestyles Kitchens and baths, our new neighbor. My “shrine’ to shutters is up and looks great. We will have a large display of Hunter Douglas blinds and shades. A number of Somfy motorized blinds and shades as well as draperies will be in our “home automation boutique”.
Our installation and repair team is thrilled with the larger work area and the ability to store and organize the thousands of parts that we stock. Most importantly the love the brightness of the room. Those seven foot ceilings in the old shop made working in that room quite difficult.
In this heat wave while moving we are all quite thankful for the central air and the fabulous ceiling fans we purchased from Lighting by the Sea in Hampton Falls. Li Yuen our new landlord has been quite gracious and welcoming. And of course her wonderful food is quite tempting.
